Changing your email account settings in Outlook Express

1. Double Click on the Outlook Express Mail Icon.

2. Once opened, go to the top menu bar and choose Tools.

3. From this menu, select Accounts.

4. Click on the Mail tab.

5. Click on your existing AFWEB account and select properties, a new window should pop up.

6. In the General tab, the following information should be typed in:

Name: Your real name (if you want to be identified)
Organization: You need not put any information here if you don't want to.
E-mail Address: Type your e-mail address here, eg. username@afweb.com
Reply-to Address: Type your e-mail address here, eg. username@afweb.com

7. Click on the Servers tab.

The following information should be typed in:

Incoming mail (POP3 server): mail.afweb.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP server): smtp.afweb.com
Account name: Enter your username (your whole e-mail address)
Password: Enter password in lowercase letters.
Password will only show as *****

Now click check the box under outgoing server and then click on settings next to it.
A new box will appear.
Select use same settings as my incoming server
click ok

Now click ok at the bottom of the screen. You will be taken back to the accounts screen. All that is left to do is hit the close button. Now you are ready to use your mail.
